Welcome to GlowCraft Studios.

If you're new here, this page will walk you through the most important first steps so you can get settled, protect your land, and start making progress quickly.

Quick beginner path:
Leave spawn → Find a place to live → Set your home → Claim your land → Gather resources → Start earning money → Earn Glow Crystals → Join the community

Step 1: Leave Spawn

Start by heading out into the world and finding a place to begin.

Useful commands:

/spawn – Return to spawn
/rtp – Random teleport
/travel or /wild – Travel out into the world

Take a little time to explore before settling down.

Step 2: Find a Place to Live

Choose a location where you want to build your base.

A good starter location should be:

Safe
Easy to get back to
Large enough to expand later
Somewhere you want to protect

Try not to build too close to other players unless you are planning to work together.

Step 3: Set Your Home

Once you find a good spot, set your home right away.

Command:

/sethome base

To return later, use:

/home base

Setting a home early saves a lot of time and helps you avoid getting lost.

Step 4: Claim Your Land

One of the most important things new players should do is protect their base.

GlowCraft uses a land claim system to help prevent griefing and theft.

To make a claim:

Use a golden shovel
Select two corners of your land
This creates a protected area around your base

Claims help protect:

Buildings
Chests and storage
Farms
Animals
Decoration

If you plan to stay somewhere, claim it as soon as possible.

Step 5: Gather Resources

Once your home is set up, start gathering materials to build and progress.

GlowCraft includes resource worlds so players can collect materials without permanently draining the main world.

These worlds reset regularly, which helps keep resources available for everyone.

Focus on gathering:

Wood
Stone
Food
Iron
Coal
Basic building materials

This will give you a strong start for tools, storage, and expansion.

Step 6: Start Earning Money

Money is useful for many things on GlowCraft, so it’s smart to start earning early.

Common beginner methods include:

Jobs
Selling items
Player shops
Events and rewards

A great place to start is:

/jobs

Jobs are one of the easiest and most reliable ways for new players to begin making money.

Step 7: Earn Glow Crystals

Glow Crystals are one of GlowCraft’s special currencies.

They can be earned from things like:

Voting
Events
Server activities
Farming and fishing systems
Other rewards across the server

Glow Crystals are used for special items, shops, and server features.

You can check your balance with:

/crystals

Step 8: Learn the Important Commands

Here are a few useful commands every new player should know:

`/spawn`	Returns you to spawn
`/rtp`	Randomly teleports you into the world
`/sethome <name>`	Sets a home
`/home <name>`	Teleports to one of your homes
