Skills are a core part of progression in PyroFishing.

They allow you to improve different aspects of fishing, such as rewards, efficiency, and overall performance.

🤹 What Are Skills?

Skills are upgrades that enhance your fishing abilities.

There are multiple skills available, each affecting a different part of the system.

You can access the skills menu using:

/fish skills

⭐ Skill Points

Skill Points are required to upgrade skills.

You earn:

1 Skill Point each time your Fishing Level increases

These points can be spent to unlock or improve skills.

⚙️ Types of Skills

There are two main types of skills:

🔼 Upgradable Skills

Cost 1 Skill Point per upgrade
Can be upgraded multiple times
Provide increasing benefits with diminishing returns

🔓 One-Time Skills

Cost a fixed number of Skill Points
Can only be unlocked once
Provide permanent passive effects

These skills often scale with your Fishing Level.

📈 How Skills Work

Skills improve different areas of PyroFishing, including:

Entropy gain
Catch rates
Gutting rewards
Augment crafting

Example effects include:

Increasing Entropy from catching fish
Increasing Entropy from gutting
Reducing augment costs

🔄 Respec (Reset Skills)

You can reset your skill points using Entropy.

This allows you to change your build and try different strategies.
